Any of you who cared might have noticed I wasn’t exactly anywhere on the internet for the past 3ish weeks. It was a combination of a few things, starting with our school play being on, then my grandmother dying, then midterms. It’s finally all over now though and it’s going to be really weird to have pretty much nothing to do until summer soccer starts.

Anyway, I’m going to try to get back into all my internet things, I started by waking up and writing 2 articles for SomeCoders, then I decided to come to the old blog after not posting in it for nearly a month, then I think I’ll head over to the HM forums and try to get caught up at least a little bit on missed posts, then I’ll finish it off by dealing with KoB. I’m not quite sure what I want to do with KoB because I think I’ve finally gotten bored of having it. I was really into it when I moved to the new server, got a new layout, and started a new round, then the cron jobs screwed up, I waited half a month for a reply and this all happened during the midst of my busy three weeks. During that I just sort of lost interest and I don’t know if I’ll continue running it or not. I may put it on “break” with intent to come back to it later, but not for a couple of months at least. I want to free up my internet time to start a new project I have in mind which if I can pull off without giving up will be really awesome!

Anyway I know nobody likes long posts so I’ll end this one and probably be back on here quite soon.

Blahhhhhh, i hate being sick, I don’t have much voice, my throat hurts a lot, i have constant headaches and my whole body just feels weak This is the first time today I’ve felt like going on the computer and I’m probably getting off it anyway.

Also, I think we aren’t going to go to the city tomorrow now because of it so that makes me feel bad too. I really hope I’m feeling better tomorrow though because yesterday it was kinda bad, today it’s a lot worse (I was actually so cold this morning at 6am i had to take a bath) so i hope today is the peak of it and tomorrow it starts getting better.

Mark break starts for me today I don’t have to go back until the 20th.

I’ve kinda been a busy last few weeks for me with driver’s ed and a bunch of homework and tests and such… Not really much to say

Oh! Here’s what I hope to get done over march break:

• Get KoB back up and running
• Work on a text based game engine
• Get some more posting on SC done
• Clean my room
• Do my history project

My hopes are to get maybe 2 of those done haha.

Over the last 2 weeks I’ve been signing up to several paid to read programs, and so far I’m netting about $5,000. What I’m wondering is how can people afford to pay this much just to send 1-2 minutes worth of traffic to them. There are three that I’m using regularly now:

They all seem pretty amazing, but what I’m wondering is if anyone knows whether or not they actually pay you the amounts they advertise? Or is there just some tiny percent of that.

Alright, buckle up because this is going to be a long post that probably nobody will read

I haven’t really posted in a while because I’ve been really busy and lazy (odd combination) so here’s anything that’s mildly interesting in my life.

On Monday we got another snow day which was pretty cool. I think most of new England got it as well and probably even worse than we did It was pretty awesome but I didn’t get all that I wanted to done. That night I started “Young Drivers” which was a VERY boring three hours. On Monday I worked a lot on KoB but didn’t manage to get as much done as I had hoped. That brings me to another point, and I’ve decided to do a little link ad:

*Note the sarcasm. I’m incredibly pissed off at startlogic. They take forever to answer support tickets and their replies usually require a follow up. I’m still waiting for some cron jobs set up that would take me 2 minutes to set up that I asked for 5 days ago. Another wonderful bit of prioritizing on their part is how there is always someone available for phone support but they aren’t allowed to do anything to help you because it has to be “officially documented”. Why the hell can’t some of those support people waiting for hours on end to answer the phone answer some tickets while they’re waiting?

Anyway, enough about start logic, and on to homework I’m in a new semester so I have Adv. Biology 11, Adv. Math 11, History 10 and French 10. My least favorite class so far is Adv. Math 11 because we have this student teacher who’s really bad at explaining very simple things so he wastes all the class time doing useless little things on the board. Bio, however, has a lot of homework and while it’s straightforward work it takes forever to do!

Now, on to Wednesday, the best one of my busy week I took my beginners test and passed with a 90% which was pretty awesome I got to drive for about an hour after that with my mom then my dad (I can’t drive alone yet) and I’m starting to get the hang of it I had to go to young drivers again that night though so that was pretty boring.

Now on to today, FINALLY a day to do nothing I really needed a day to just kind of… vegetate I have to do some homework and I’ll probably get caught up on some KoB work but that’s all good.

This week seems like the longest one this year even though it’s only Thursday and we had no school Monday

Heh, that was one bitchin’ blizzard if I do say so myself. We didn’t get all that much snow, maybe 15-20 cm (that’s probably 6-9 inches for all you silly Americans ), but the winds were awesome I think they were 60 km/h gusting to 90 (bleh, I don’t know the conversion on that one haha). Anyway everything got pushed back another day ahead for exams which makes next week even awesomer. Next Monday is my math exam, next Tuesday is no school (exam marking day), and Wednesday is a half-day where we go to our old courses to get our exam marks back and then go to our new classes to meet the teachers. After that Thursday and Friday are just regular old days.

I’m hoping me, mck and Al will be starting a new coding blog soon That should be fun. If anyone else wants to be a permanent writer that’d be cool I think we’re still working a name and domain. I can’t wait to get it started I’m hoping to actually learn a lot from it, and maybe learn a little more C++ (hint, hint ST ).

What a shitty day for a snow day. All it does is make me miss 2 hours of school for an easy exam and push everything back to one day before my birthday (Saturday!). It’s only our second one so far this year. By now we would’ve had probably 5+ but this winter really sucks. Also, our first one was on a school trip day so that was another useless one. I’m really starting to hate the weather

I might study a little bit today. We have exams this comming week. I have my exploring tech exam on Monday so I probably won’t study for that, it’s such a stupid course, i’m glad it’s finally over Anyway then I have science on tuesday and I’ll study for it probably tomorrow night a little bit and I’ll study on tuesday just a bit for english on wednesday then I’ll just wing it for math on thursday haha.
